Biography
Professor Ayazi received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Tehran, Iran, in 1994, and the M.S. and the Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 1997 and 2000, respectively.
He joined the ECE faculty at Georgia Institute of Technology in December 1999. His main research focus has been in the area of Integrated MEMS and Microsystems Technology. He has served on the technical program committees of the IEEE International Solid State Circuits Conference (ISSCC), IEEE Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) conference, and IEEE Sensors conference. His research is supported by DARPA, NSF, NASA and Industry.
